Hair Styles for Long Hair

Versatile hairstyles can be hard to find for long hair, as there are often hairstyles which are similarly styled once the length of the hair reaches a certain point. Through these styles which have been created for long hair, the individual is able to create a varying degree of styles, but it can be difficult to change the look completely from time to time to create the appearance of different hair.

There is a way however, to completely change the appearance of the hair from long to short. Through the use of pins and pinning the hair below the hairline, long hair can be transformed into the appearance of a short bob. Through these pins, which pull the straightened hair up shorter, you can truly create a versatile style. Start by pinning sections of the hair underneath, from the front, all the way around to the back. This can help to reduce the length and change the appearance. It is easier to work with small sections when creating this style, and using finishing spray, or teasing techniques to ensure the hair remains where it is supposed to, the teasing techniques are able to give the hair the texture it needs to remain in place throughout the entire style.

To wear the hair down, there are also various styles which can be used to transform the look of the normal hair. Through the use of different textures than are normally worn in the hair, the individual is able to create a separate sense of style. For example, if you usually wear the hair straight, consider wearing the hair curly, as this can cause a completely different appearance. If you are not full out ready for a head full of curls, consider casual waves which can be placed through the hair through the use of twists while the hair is wet, allowing the hair to dry or even through the use of curlers in varying sizes.
